*Update: since this video was filmed, ALL the fixtures on this are now Monitor TR. A new video will be up soon.* Well, what I thought would be a complete modernization on this elevator is done, however, not much really was changed. Look at the COP, and you will see that this may have always been able to serve the basement, I just never noticed the pit being down there. It is still inground hydraulic, and I am not quite sure if there is a new hydraulic system here or not. KONE definitely did some upgrades here, installing a new Monitor TR call button on the 2nd floor and a new in-car directional lantern, which was needed since the last one did not light up. While I was expecting a complete modernization of some sort, it really isn't that surprising that SIMON took the cheap route and barely had anything done to this. It's good though, since this is a very nice elevator, and a modernization could have made it uglier, depending on what SIMON wanted done. Also, we have numerous EPIC door closes in this video, partially the reason why there are so many individual videos in this one video. This mall is the nicest one in all of New Jersey that I've been to, and with a nice mall comes a nice elevator with it.
