Resolved Question: Can a UPS package be delivered when the status says "In Transit" ?

The origin scan was in Edison, NJ (51 minutes away) at 1:56 PM, the only other nearby center I know of is Horsham, PA (45 minutes from where I live, you'd have to pass near here to get there from Edison). If the only scan was the origin scan at Edison, NJ, and the status says "In Transit," could my package be delivered today?
